Interprofessional Mentors

When a mentee needs to develop transferrable skills, such as communication skills, leadership, research, organizational development or educational skills, a mentor who may not be a nurse and who may not work in oncology, may have the appropriate expertise. For this reason, we recruit outside of the nursing profession and already have a number of mentors that are:

  • Social workers
  • Physicians
  • Pharmacists
  • Policy makers
