On June 22nd the Oncology Nursing e-Mentorship Program hosted their first Leadership for Mentorship workshop. The workshop was held in one of downtown Toronto’s beautiful heritage buildings. One of the workshop activities was a World Café that sought to identify strategies, barriers, and bold next steps to implementing a mentorship program into participants’ organizations. Participants were required to move around the room and create new connections with their fellow participants. Hundreds of ideas were written on colourful post-it notes and posted on the wall. Below you will find summaries of the ideas that were produced on that day as well as presentations from Shelley Aubry, Tracey Keighley-Clarke, and Marilyn Reddick.
