Who is Eligible to Become a Mentee?

Registered Nurses living in Ontario with any one of the following criteria are welcome to participate in the program as a mentee:

  • Interested in becoming or currently involved in providing care to pediatric and/or adult patients affected by cancer.
  • Nursing care may take place at any time point across the cancer continuum including prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, palliation and end-of-life care.
  • Nursing care may take place in a variety of healthcare settings such as the home, community, long-term care, hospice, outpatient clinics, hospitals, cancer clinics or other cancer related organizations.
